Sales Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our sales team in Morrisburg, Ontario. This role involves selling general insurance policies for personal lines coverage, ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable, and generating new business leads. The successful candidate will have exceptional sales and customer service skills, a strong knowledge of risk and insurance products, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Job Responsibilities- Sell general insurance policies to the public by acting as the initial contact with applicants.
- Obtain necessary information from clients to provide accurate quotations and premiums.
- Place risks with appropriate markets, obtain applications, and arrange premium collections.
- Ensure abeyance is in place, followed up within a reasonable time to confirm issuance and receipt of policies.
- Fulfill ongoing client satisfaction through regular contact and product recommendations.
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of risk and insurance products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- RIBO license eligibility.
