Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and long-term disability coverage, we offer a competitive pension plan and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity will see you working closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining all necessary information from potential clients to provide accurate quotations for coverage and premiums;
- Placing risks with appropriate markets and arranging collections for premiums;
- Ensuring timely completion of applications and binding of insurance coverage;
- Following up with clients to confirm issuance and receipt of policies;
- Collecting accounts receivable and addressing any concerns on client portfolios.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills;
- Strong knowledge of risk and insurance products;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle stressful and contentious situations;
- A willingness and eligibility to obtain a RIBO license.
