About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Account Manager to join our sales and services team at Metso. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers at the site level, promoting Metso's value-adding offering, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve profitable business growth from allocated sites.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to enhance Metso's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer engagement and delivery of Metso's services.
  • Manage customer interactions, including visits, meetings, and communication, to ensure effective issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze customer business performance, identifying opportunities to enhance Metso's offerings and drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Metso's portfolio, services, and solutions to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Lead a unified Metso approach towards the customer at the dedicated site, ensuring efficient information sharing between customer and Metso's organization.
  • Document and follow up on site-related findings, concerns, and problems, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing key accounts within the minerals or metals industry.
  • Greater than 60% of time spent on site, with a strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Experience in sales, account management, and customer relationship management, with a strong understanding of CRM-based systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to see the big picture and plan effectively.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, with a bias for action and attention to detail.
  • A high level of computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience in Salesforce.
