About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Office Manager to join our team at All Stars Motor Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures

Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring that they are aligned with the hotel's goals and objectives.

Recruit and Hire Staff

Recruit and hire staff to fill vacant positions, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and qualifications to perform their duties.

Supervise Staff

Supervise and manage a team of front office staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.

Conduct Performance Reviews

Conduct regular performance reviews with staff, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.

Negotiate with Suppliers

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for the hotel, ensuring that we are getting the best value for our money.

Conduct Training Sessions

Conduct training sessions for staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.

Negotiate with Clients

Negotiate with clients to secure bookings and ensure that they are satisfied with their stay.

Perform Front Desk Duties

Perform front desk duties, including checking in and out guests, handling room assignments, and responding to guest inquiries.

Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses

Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring that the hotel is operating within its means.

Prepare Marketing Plans

Prepare marketing plans to attract new guests and increase revenue.

Implement Marketing Activities

Implement marketing activities, including social media campaigns and email marketing.

Arrange for Maintenance Activities

Arrange for maintenance activities, including repairs and renovations.

Enforce Policies and Procedures

Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring that they are being followed by staff.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customer complaints and concerns, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Assist Guests with Special Needs

Assist guests with special needs, including providing wheelchair accessibility and other accommodations.

Develop and Implement Business Plans

Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue and growth.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that they are fair and reasonable.

Manage Events

Manage events, including weddings and conferences.

Organize and Maintain Inventory

Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies and equipment to operate the hotel.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
