About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Executive Inn Hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's budget, ensuring that we are operating within our financial targets and making a profit.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the restaurant is maintained to the highest standards of health and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who are displaced by conflict or natural disaster, providing them with opportunities for employment and integration into our community.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting cultural understanding and exchange.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, promoting diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
