Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Operations Manager to join our team at Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel during evening and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
    • Establish and implement work schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity.
    • Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on hotel performance and areas for improvement.
  • Client Service and Support
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
    • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
    • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
    • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
