About the RoleThe Chief Operations Officer - Financial Strategy will be responsible for allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. This includes authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, establishing objectives for the organization, and formulating or approving policies and programs.
You will also represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and delegate necessary authority to them. Additionally, you will manage events, conduct performance reviews, work under pressure, and demonstrate attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support the implementation of organizational policies and programs.
- Leadership: Select and develop senior staff, including department heads and directors, to ensure effective leadership across the organization.
- Negotiations: Represent the organization in negotiations with external stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Event Management: Plan and execute events that support the organization's goals and objectives, such as conferences, workshops, and meetings.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or public administration.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a government or non-profit organization.
- Skill Set: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, and a generous retirement plan.
