About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Cattail Crossing Ltd. as an Executive Chef. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
    • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, demonstrating a high level of culinary expertise.
  • Inventory Management and Kitchen Maintenance
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Communicate effectively with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments, promoting a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting
    • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
