Bilingual Client Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Affinity Client Care Representative to join our team at Securian Canada. As a key member of our Customer Care Centre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service experience to our customers, addressing their queries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, account balances, refunds, certificates, plan details, products, and services.
- Assess customer needs and address each request in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, including follow-up as required.
- Use systems to gather information to resolve each situation, ensuring First Contact Resolution.
- Update certificate details and follow up as necessary, including type of coverage, amount of coverage, cancellation of certificates, beneficiary or coordinate updates, and requests from Underwriting.
- Deliver consistent, quality service to our clients, adhering to our processes, productivity, and quality objectives.
- Raise and vet ideas to promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services and attend relevant development courses.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- 1 or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, banking, or insurance industry.
- Oral and written bilingualism is required.
- Exceptional active listening and great verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain decisions and practices clearly, concisely, and accurately in a respectful and empathic manner.
- Ability to work with multiple computer applications and learn new ones.
- Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrates interest in continuous learning.
