Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Affinity Client Care Representative to join our team at Securian Canada. As a key member of our Customer Care Centre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service experience to our customers, addressing their queries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to billing, account balances, refunds, certificates, and product information.
  • Assess customer needs and provide personalized solutions, ensuring First Contact Resolution.
  • Update customer records and follow up on certificate details, including cancellations and updates.
  • Deliver consistent, quality service to our clients, meeting productivity and quality objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the development of new ideas and trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with products and services, attending relevant development courses and training sessions.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, banking, or insurance industry.
  • Oral and written bilingualism is required.
  • Exceptional active listening and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain decisions and practices clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Proficiency in multiple computer applications and ability to learn new ones.
  • Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and autonomous, with a strong detail orientation.
