About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Affinity Client Care Specialist to join our team at Securian Canada. As a key member of our Customer Care Centre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service experience to our clients who contact us with inquiries and concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess customer needs and provide personalized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Use our systems to gather information and resolve customer issues, ensuring First Contact Resolution.
  • Update customer records and follow up as necessary to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Deliver consistent and quality service to our clients, meeting our productivity and quality objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the development of new ideas and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with our products and services, attending training and development courses as needed.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, banking, or insurance industry.
  • Oral and written bilingualism is required.
  • Exceptional active listening and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain decisions and practices clearly and accurately in a respectful and empathetic manner.
  • Ability to work with multiple computer applications and learn new ones.
  • Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and autonomous, with a strong detail orientation.
