About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Client Care Specialist to join our team at Securian Canada. As a key member of our Customer Care Centre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, using various communication channels.
  • Needs Assessment: Assess client needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • System Utilization: Use our systems to gather information and resolve client issues, ensuring First Contact Resolution.
  • Certificate Management: Update and manage client certificates, including cancellations, updates, and bulk requests.
  • Quality Service: Deliver consistent, high-quality service to our clients, meeting our productivity and quality objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge Management: Stay up-to-date with our products and services, attending training and development courses as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Experience: 1 or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, banking, or insurance industry.
  • Language Skills: Bilingualism (English and French) is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to work with multiple computer applications and learn new ones.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to change and be comfortable with new processes and procedures.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and professional development.
