Strategic Operations Consultant for People and Equity

About the Opportunity
">- As a Senior Consultant, you will lead a team of HR Consultants and Representatives in providing exceptional service to employees and managers within the City of Toronto's People and Equity Division.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in human resources, particularly in supervising and motivating teams, promoting inclusive work cultures, and implementing projects/initiatives. A strong understanding of relevant human resources practices, collective agreements, and employment legislation is essential.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Supervise a team of HR Consultants and Representatives, ensuring high standards of work quality and organizational performance.
- Implement detailed plans and recommend policies/procedures regarding program-specific requirements.
- Liaise with operating divisions to ensure effective customer service procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Centres of Focus (COFs), Strategic Communications, and Divisions to provide documentation/training for the Inquiry and Advisory team.
Requirements
">- Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CHRP, CHRL, or other relevant professional designation an asset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to apply technical and project methodology knowledge effectively.
