Chef and Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Chef and Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at JRV Filipino Market. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. They will also be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus that meet the needs of our customers and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate is an asset.
