Job Title: Head Chef and Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to join our team at Beaumont Kitchen. As the leader of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily food preparation, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that our high standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chef Duties: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  • Kitchen Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, order supplies and equipment, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
Benefits:
  • Compensation: Estimated salary $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Language: English (primary language spoken in the workplace).
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
