Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef and Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Patois Restaurant Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, leadership, and culinary expertise.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining high-quality food standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute menu development, ensuring dishes are well-prepared and presented
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a head chef or kitchen manager in a similar establishment
  • Proven track record of successful kitchen operations, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (desired)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing stress
