HIMALAYAN KITCHEN INC. is seeking a skilled Executive Chef - Food Service Manager to lead our kitchen operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring seamless food service delivery.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced chef with excellent leadership skills to manage our kitchen team. As an Executive Chef - Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing menus that meet customer expectations and exceed quality standards.
- Managing inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Scheduling and supervising kitchen staff to ensure effective use of resources.
- Maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong culinary background, preferably with experience as a head chef or kitchen manager.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
- The ability to work well under pressure, maintaining composure in fast-paced kitchen environments.
- A thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
