Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team at ComForCare. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for managing our marketing operations, establishing and implementing marketing initiatives, and negotiating contracts with managed care companies, government agencies, and other payers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage marketing operations and establish and implement marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts with managed care companies, government agencies, and other payers that ensure optimal reimbursement.
  • Establish systems for consistent market assessment and develop a marketing plan designed to meet agency goals.
  • Establish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with current and potential referral sources and payers.
  • Negotiate pricing with insurance case managers and other payers within acceptable standards of practice.
  • Participate with management team in strategic planning activities, identifying opportunities to improve services and better meet customer needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Agency's markets, key referral sources, and position in the market related to competitors.
  • Develop and maintain information on available community resources, and assist customers and staff in accessing services or information.
  • Participate in the annual Agency evaluation in areas of marketing, program development, growth, and expectations.
  • Prepare reports of marketing activities and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff to assure consistent message to the customers and the community.
