Business Development Coordinator

ComForCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing and business development team, you will be responsible for managing our marketing programs and establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage marketing operations and establish and implement marketing initiatives to meet agency goals.
- Negotiate contracts with managed care companies, government agencies, and other payers to ensure optimal reimbursement.
- Establish systems for consistent market assessment and develop a marketing plan to meet agency goals.
- Establish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with current and potential referral sources and payers.
- Negotiate pricing with insurance case managers and other payers within acceptable standards of practice.
- Participate with management team in strategic planning activities to identify opportunities to improve services and better meet customer needs.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Agency's markets, key referral sources, and position in the market related to competitors.
- Develop and maintain information on available community resources and assist customers and staff in accessing services or information.
- Prepare reports of marketing activities and effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to assure consistent message to the customers and the community.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare management or marketing, preferably in home health care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and restrictions in home health services.
- Demonstrated supervisory and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness, and team orientation.
