Job Title: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and executing strategic priorities for DSV, a leading global supply chain solutions provider. This position is responsible for achieving sales targets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering end-to-end solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of target customers, including their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to create value-added solutions for clients.
  • Manage and maintain existing accounts, ensuring alignment with DSV's sales process and objectives.
  • Provide regular performance metrics and insights to the sales administrator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including sales presentations, deliverable development, and implementation coordination.
Requirements:
  • Education in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience and 2 years of account management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM).
Working Conditions:

The Business Development Manager will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with regular travel required. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing at a desk, working on a computer, and occasional working beyond regular hours to meet business needs.
