Senior Business Development Manager for Defence

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth strategies for Defence. As Defence BDM, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of this customer segment.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a business development/sales background with extensive Defence experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with the sales team and multiple stakeholders to define and execute sales plans, strategic programs, and initiatives to deliver revenue growth.
- Contributing to the strategic development of work products that maximize and accelerate revenue.
- Working with business leaders from product teams to explore market data, identify trends, and opportunities, and execute on business development opportunities.
- Managing internal communications and performance reporting.
- Developing and executing segment-specific sales and marketing efforts with strategic partners.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive-level relationships.
- Excellent presentation, sales, and negotiation skills, with the ability to close and/or support high-value and high-profile opportunities.
- Strong ownership and bias for action, with the ability to internalize goals and work independently to create real plans to achieve them.
- Strong analytical orientation, with comfort using analytical tools and making data-based decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and create appropriate tactical plans.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to juggle many tasks in parallel.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization.
- Demonstrated ability to champion and drive cross-functionally improvement initiatives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at C-suite level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results.
