About the Role:
The Policy Officer Recruitment Programme is a three-year on-the-job professional development programme designed to recruit and develop talented individuals to meet the unique demands of the defence policy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and synthesize information on subjects related to security and defence policy, international affairs, or public policy.
- Write on subjects related to security and defence policy, international affairs, or public policy.
- Conduct research, analyze, and synthesize information to provide recommendations to management.
Requirements:
- Graduation with a Master's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the duties of the position, and/or a Juris Doctor; and, specialization in sociology, statistics, or economics, or demonstrate a combination of education, training, and/or experience in one of these subject areas.
- Experience researching, analyzing, and synthesizing information, on subjects related to security and defence policy, international affairs, or public policy.
- Experience writing on subjects related to security and defence policy, international affairs, or public policy.
