Job Title: Change Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to join our team at Defence Construction Canada. As a Change Management Specialist, you will play a key role in leading our internal change management communications efforts, providing strategic advice and guidance on change management best practices, and developing communications tools and materials to support our corporate transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Apply change management methodologies and communications best practices to advise on, develop and execute change management communications and plans to support a range of corporate initiatives
- Write, edit and develop communications tools, presentations, briefings and corporate reports related to technology-enabled and other transformative initiatives
- Provide advice and recommendations to senior and project leaders and other stakeholders on change management communications best practices and targeted interventions to manage the change related to corporate projects and initiatives as it affects employees
- Coach, train, advise and support internal clients to successfully adopt changes resulting from corporate projects and initiatives
- Act as the senior liaison between project teams and the Director, Communications
- Develop and maintain change management policies
- Field change management communications-related questions from employees and senior managers

Requirements:

- University degree in English, marketing, communications, public relations, business, social or human sciences, or a related field
- Minimum eight years of relevant experience, with evidence you played a valuable or leadership role in at least two major transformation, digital transformation or large-scale ERP implementation projects
- Certification in change management (Prosci ADKAR is preferred) or Accredited Business Communicator, Strategic Communications Management Professional or Accredited Public Relations designation
- Specialized change management training
