Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Administrator to facilitate the progression of account life cycles through effective document management. This role involves sorting, processing, and storing account documents/deposits for new accounts and managing documentation/information for closed accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Review new account documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Process client requests from various back-office queues
  • Enter client deposits (cheques, drafts) into our electronic system
  • Deliver deposits to the bank
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail/courier services
  • Organize paper-based client account documentation received via mail
  • Scan paper documents into electronic format
  • Filing and retrieving documentation as required
  • Identify closed account documents for destruction
  • Prepare and review daily closed account reports
  • Maintain daily logs properly
  • Locate and prepare closed account documents for long-term storage and eventual destruction

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • 6-12 months related work experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $50,000-$60,000, depending on location and experience. The role is a 12-month contract.
