Overview
Modern Beauty Supplies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to support the operations of our retail locations in Lower Mainland, British Columbia. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our store teams, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Head Office and store locations, making regular visits to stores and coordinating with management to grow market share and improve customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze business trends across stores, developing and implementing plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals for key performance indicators.
- Encourage team members to participate in sales goals, contests, and incentives, promoting product knowledge and customer service.
- Protect intellectual property and confidential information, ensuring all team members adhere to company standards and policies.
- Regularly audit staff purchases, credits, and discounts, ensuring they are used as intended.
- Ensure protection of company property by managing loss prevention within the district.
- Approve schedules, manage staffing levels, and collaborate with HR on employee management.
- Retain team members by nurturing their potential, providing feedback, and resolving conflicts.
- Complete annual store performance assessments and develop plans to improve store performance.
- Cultivate a strong team of motivated and committed store managers who drive sales and hit store targets.
- Make independent decisions to ensure situations and issues are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a positive attitude.
- Build strong relationships with employees and clients.
- Must be flexible and have open availability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem identification and conflict management skills, with a proven record in overcoming objections.
- Minimum 5 years of retail industry experience and 3 years of management experience.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle to travel throughout Alberta.
- Must be located in British Columbia.
- A valid passport is required for frequent travel, which may include travel outside of Canada.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a regional or multi-site setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
- Proficient in process improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
