About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager - Business Operations to join our team at India Paradise Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Procedures

Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.

Financial Management

Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial management.

Performance Management

Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Cost Control

Cost products and services to ensure optimal profitability.

Regulatory Compliance

Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management.

Health and Safety

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure optimal pricing.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns to ensure exceptional customer service.

Marketing and Sales

Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue growth.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, and large workload.

Personal Suitability

Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.

Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a large workload. You will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You must be physically demanding and have excellent communication skills.
