We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at INDIA PARADISE RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Cost Control: Cost products and services to ensure optimal profitability and efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure timely restocking and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
