- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all stock is up-to-date and accurate.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant or similar food service environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
