Energy Sales Executive

Job Summary:
Direct Energy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Energy Sales Executive to join our team. As an Energy Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in the commercial and industrial market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the commercial and industrial market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify new business opportunities and increase sales revenue.
- Prospect and establish new business relationships with key decision-makers in the commercial and industrial market segments.
- Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and proposals to customers to meet their energy needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a commercial or industrial sales environment.
- Strong understanding of the commercial and industrial energy market segments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct sales and marketing consultative selling.
- University-level degree in Economics, Commerce/Business, Energy and/or Sustainability or Finance.
- Strong understanding of Canadian deregulated electricity, natural gas, and/or renewable energy markets.
