Job Title:

Director, Sales and Leasing

Job Summary:

The Director, Sales and Leasing will lead the sales and leasing efforts for SmartLiving's residential portfolio, including condominiums, single-family homes, and purpose-built rental units. This role will drive growth and profitability through strategic decision-making and innovative marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage overall sales and leasing activities, including market research, sales presentations, and tracking of sales and leasing trends.
  • Lead and manage a team of internal sales and leasing staff to execute residential sales and leasing campaigns.
  • Grow and maintain an established network of external agents/brokers.
  • Work closely with the corporate marketing team to ensure effective and consistent articulation of brand and messaging.
  • Drive the marketing and communications strategy for all multi-family projects.
  • Understand local real estate markets and stay up to date on pre-construction home sales and market dynamics.
  • Provide direction for the design and execution of marketing materials and coordinate the production and delivery of marketing materials to end users.
  • Work with internal project teams to advise on project design and inform product design and pricing.
  • Conduct research and stay up to date on industry/market trends and innovations.
  • Generate ideas and strategies for new development projects and internal processes.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communication, real estate, or equivalent.
  • Post-graduate degree in marketing or related field would be an asset.
  • 5+ years in a professional sales and/or leasing position in an active market.
  • A strong, established professional network of agents/brokers in the pre-construction sales industry.
  • A passion for developing innovative solutions to solve marketing problems.
  • An established track record in leading and managing a diverse and skilled group of professionals.
