Job Title: Sales Director

Join our team at Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. as a Sales Director, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth and success in the Canadian market.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Channel Sales team in Canada. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers and implementation resources to achieve sales targets
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes
  • Implement enabling technologies, including CRM, to support sales teams and improve sales efficiency
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or sales management in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and success in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of sales professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in English communication skills, bilingualism (French) is an asset
