Payroll Administrative Coordinator

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our payroll operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all levels of business, maintaining various reporting requirements, and supporting the month and period end close process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide an excellent level of customer service to all levels of business
- Maintain various reporting requirements (data verifications, and entry for union payroll)
- Support the month and period end close process to ensure accurate financial documents
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships to support key critical initiatives as needed
- Continuously recommend and implement operational improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness and productivity of the department
- Assist with ad-hoc and cross-functional projects and initiatives as required
- Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
- Coordinate the DCs Accounts Payable & process vendor payments timely
- Be an active participant in event planning and coordination with the DC Team
- Flexibility to work Sunday - Thursday
- Experience in payroll data entry and Accounts Payable is an asset
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, particularly corporate and/or retail will be considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to bring together and manage interactions with employees from across the organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage demanding situations with tact
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Results Oriented – able to consistently deliver on time and accurate results
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Familiar with SAP system is preferred

Hiring Range: $36,500.00 - $59,800.00 per year. A candidate's experience and knowledge as well as the geographical region in which the position is located may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
