Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at York Rd. Kitchen & Chocolate Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to manage restaurant operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and staff scheduling.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring that our customers receive a consistently excellent dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability.
