National Sales Director

Talis Group is seeking a highly skilled National Sales Manager to join their dynamic sales team in Canada. This role will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and increasing market share. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and relationship-building, with expertise in the private label food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth and market share expansion.
- Actively pursue new business leads to grow the customer base and develop new relationships in the private label industry.
- Develop and deliver tailored presentations and bids to prospective clients, positioning our products as solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Manage all aspects of account operations, from pricing and promotional communications to ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop custom products and special projects for clients, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent
- Proven sales expertise in private label food and beverage industry
- Must have National account management experience with Walmart
- Must be fluent in English and French
- 10+ years of experience in new business development and managing high-profile accounts.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual who can work independently or as part of a team.
- Collaborative and personable approach, with excellent business acumen and leadership skills.
