Job Overview

This position is part of the Connect 6ix project, which involves the construction of Toronto's new Ontario Line subway. As a key member of the Connect 6ix consortium, you will be responsible for delivering trains, signaling systems, and operations, storage, and maintenance facilities. You will also operate the Ontario Line for a 30-year term once it comes into service.


Key Responsibilities
  • E nsure compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) guidelines of the Group
  • Enforce safety and evacuation procedures, leading by example
  • Promote a preventive approach to ensure the health and safety of team members
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Action Plan, performance review, and roadmap within their scope
  • Organize and maintain all documentation pertaining to the project
  • Interface with the project team to maintain control of documentation

Requirements

A four-year degree is preferred, however a two-year technical degree augmented with courses and/or seminars in engineering change control, contract administration, project management is acceptable.

Ten years of document control experience, with at least five-years supporting an engineering and construction project, preferably in the public-sector.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of software is required. Experience with large-scale Document Control Software is also required.


Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
