At Loyalty Rules, we're looking for a skilled Key Account Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and growth of our Snacks portfolio.

We're seeking a talented individual with strong business-building creativity and financial acumen to craft and negotiate full-year business plans that promote products like Eggo Waffles to shoppers.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Mississauga head office, where you'll have the opportunity to work at the center of a team of peers that helps you earn customers' trust as you share your market-leading expertise across supply chain, shopper marketing and category management.

A Day in the Life
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with stakeholders across multiple functions and communicate progress and requirements needed to optimize the corporate playbook within the customer's business environment.
  • Relationship Management – Build strong relationships and organizational understanding both within the Loyalty Rules Canada business as well as that of the customer's business with a focus to synergize the two together to meet and/or exceed business targets.
  • Date Utilization – Review and analyze the business using Nielsen and shopper data to develop business solutions and growth strategies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting – Plan and invest trade spend dollars to achieve brand activations at the retailer and actively manage the accuracy and efficiency of those investments.
What We're Looking For
  • Post Secondary education in relevant field or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with experience in negotiation.
  • Experience in direct selling at retail store level and introductory level customer head office, preferably in Retail Packaged Goods.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with well-developed organization and interpersonal capability.
  • Strong knowledge of MS software and customized systems with solid financial acumen.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
