About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at CarePartners. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients in their homes and communities.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide personalized care and support, promoting independence and dignity for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and respite care, under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager.
- Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to care plans and proper food safety practices.
Requirements
- A valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program.
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.
- A valid driver's license and vehicle (if required).
