Personal Support Worker

Responsibilities:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals in long term care facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for the individuals under your care
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals who may be experiencing physical or mental health challenges
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if necessary
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for the individuals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and medication administration is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
