Job DescriptionOverview

A Personal Support Worker (PSW) is an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for supporting patients with activities of daily living in home and community care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as personal care, household tasks, and medication management.
  • Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics and transfer techniques.
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients.
Requirements
  • Valid certificate as a PSW or equivalent experience.
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and clear background check.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours and flexibility in scheduling.
