About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support business needs
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehouses and data lakes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Develop and maintain data models and data governance policies
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Experience with SQL and data modeling
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing and big data technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Redshift or Amazon S3
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
