About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Crown Lands Information Management Centre. As the Registrar of Crown Lands, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information maintained in the Crown lands registry, as well as overseeing the mapping, archival storage, and retrieval of historical and digital Crown land data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of information maintained in the Crown lands registry
  • Oversee the mapping, archival storage, and retrieval of historical and digital Crown land data
  • Analyze and interpret Crown lands documents, including deeds, grants, survey plans, and maps
  • Certify various documents pursuant to various acts, including the Crown Lands Act, Evidence Act, and Wilderness Protection Act
  • Manage human resources and develop relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a recognized post-secondary degree in Surveying or Geomatics, and a minimum of five years of experience in legal surveying, interpreting the extent of title, real property, or acceptable equivalent education and experience.
