We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Legally Minded Administrative Professional to join our team at Pain Rehabilitation Clinic Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to our legal department.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for administering oaths and taking affidavits and depositions, preparing wills, real estate transactions, and other legal documents. They will also represent clients in small claims court and lower court proceedings, as well as research records, court files, and other legal documents. Additionally, they will assist lawyers in preparation for mediation and judicial dispute resolutions, draft legal correspondence, and witness and certify the validity of signatures on documents.
Key Responsibilities- Administer oaths and take affidavits and depositions
- Prepare wills, real estate transactions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in small claims court and lower court proceedings
- Research records, court files, and other legal documents
- Assist lawyers in preparation for mediation and judicial dispute resolutions
- Draft legal correspondence
- Witness and certify the validity of signatures on documents
- 1-2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role
- Strong knowledge of legal software applications, MS Office, and database management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
This is a non-smoking, air-conditioned work environment with a large workload and a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year
