Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Legal Support Associate to join our team at EStaffSearch. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting letters, coordinating meetings, processing invoices and expenses, and performing other administrative duties as required.
  • Dealing with client inquiries, responding to their needs, and conducting follow-ups as necessary.
  • Maintaining a bring-forward system, preparing initial drafts of routine documents, and ensuring all physical and electronic filing is organized and up-to-date.
  • Providing general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, photocopying materials, booking meeting rooms, and making travel arrangements.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to provide timely delivery of documents and materials to meet client needs.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk course.
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in corporate, tax, financial services, commercial and/or civil litigation, wills and estates, and indigenous law.
  • In-depth understanding of business and legal terminology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent verbal and written abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of accounting/docketing systems and data management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
