Job Opportunity

The Enterprise Data Sales Director Role

The successful candidate will lead the management and execution of direct sales in the assigned region, driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and customer acquisition. This individual contributor role requires a high-performance sales professional with a strong background in enterprise software sales, data integration, data analytics, and data management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent presentation and communication skills to handle the entire sales process from business development to negotiations and closing.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and Execute Strategic Sales Plans: Establish and maintain effective sales strategies for the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with corporate and regional revenue targets.
  • Sales Performance and Customer Acquisition: Meet individual sales quotas, achieve new customer acquisition targets, and implement expansion strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Partner Channel Development: Collaborate with partner channels sales teams to identify, source, and onboard suitable partners, driving revenue through both direct and indirect channels.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts across assigned accounts and territories, measuring and reporting on sales performance and plan execution.


Requirements and Qualifications

For this key role, we seek an experienced sales professional with:


  • 10+ years of results-driven enterprise software sales experience
  • 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise software
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in data integration, data warehousing, databases, business intelligence, data analytics, AI/ML concepts, and products
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT architectures and corporate data strategies and solutions
  • Able to manage all aspects of the sales cycle from cold calling prospects to negotiating enterprise-wide contracts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of customer roles (C-suite, Executives, Subject Matter Experts, and Enterprise Architects)
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline, computer science, or engineering, with an MBA preferred or equivalent work experience


Salary Estimate: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
