Sales Account Executive Leader

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team at Clutch Solutions as an Account Executive.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with customers. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic plans to meet customer needs, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Drive profitable growth and expand revenue for key accounts
- Develop in-depth customer technology roadmaps and collaborate to uncover new sales opportunities
- Pursue partnerships with vendor field sales representatives to optimize joint selling opportunities within the territory
- Broaden market awareness of Clutch Solutions through participation in local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations
- Enhance product knowledge and sales skills by participating in ongoing product and skill training opportunities provided by Clutch Solutions and external sources
Account Executives will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Build customer loyalty and retention
- Penetrate new categories and expand existing ones
- Develop account contact networks
- Employ Total Solution selling techniques
- Foster solid business relationships with decision-makers and influencers across all levels at each account
- Understand each customer's business model, map their organization, and identify unique technology needs
- Collaborate with local vendor field representatives on sales efforts and partnerships with accounts, including discovering new account opportunities
- Utilize quarterly forecasting and pipeline management to drive sales growth
- Manage geographic territories using professional territory management skills
- Participate in collaborative sales strategies, discuss account trends, advise on changes within accounts, and coordinate quotes and sales opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience in field-facing sales roles
- Cold calling experience in a sales 'hunter' role
- Prior experience selling technology hardware or software products
- Prior experience selling complex technical solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years' experience in field-facing sales roles
- 5 years' experience in technology hardware or software sales
- 2 years' experience selling complex technical solutions
- Prior experience selling advanced technology solutions from Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Nutanix, or Dell
Optional Preferred Qualifications if Industry Specific Position:
- Experience selling within commercial or public sector budget and procurement cycles
- Experience selling to K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare, State and Local government, or Federal government customers
