About the Role:

Auberge du Pommier is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and ensure high-quality food preparation
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and attract new customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior management role in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Post-secondary degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
