About the Role:

Auberge du Pommier is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in all aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage and motivate a team of restaurant staff to achieve exceptional service standards
  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food and beverage preparation, inventory management, and maintenance
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement menus and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Manage and resolve conflicts and issues in a fair and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve restaurant operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a General Manager role in a fine dining restaurant
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Post-secondary degree in Hospitality Management or related field
