Job Summary
This administrative role provides essential support to the Department, ensuring the smooth operation of health and safety projects. As a key member of the team, you will assist in coordinating initiatives, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding the Board's commitments and legal obligations.
About Us
The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is a dynamic organization dedicated to delivering quality educational programs and services from a Catholic faith perspective. With approximately 73,000 students across 151 schools, our board employs around 8,000 faculty and staff to achieve its mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Department, including coordinating health and safety projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist in meeting deadlines and upholding the Board's commitments and legal obligations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary school diploma.
- Two years of relevant office experience.
- Proficiency in using Board-provided computer-based technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Health and Safety Act, Board policies, and procedures.
- Evidence of satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
Salary Information
This position offers a competitive salary range of $54,500 - $62,800 per year, based on location and experience.
