The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our financial department, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare general ledger and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing clients and collecting payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, store and update financial data, and maintain filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support, including performing general office duties and preparing financial statements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with strong organizational and communication skills, who is proficient in Sage Accounting Software and Simply Accounting. Previous experience in accounting or finance is an asset.

Benefits

This permanent position offers 16 hours of work per week, with a competitive salary of $45,000 per year (estimated based on industry standards). The successful candidate must be legally able to work in Canada and have a strong command of English.
