Franchise Banking Specialist

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Franchise Banking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Business Banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with franchise business owners, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert advice on financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the franchise industry, including market trends and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise business owners, identifying new business opportunities and providing expert advice on financial solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and revenue.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that franchise business owners receive timely and effective support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring that Scotiabank's franchise banking solutions remain competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business, finance, or economics.
  • Proven experience in franchise banking, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with franchise business owners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
